While visiting my parents in New York, we went to the nearby children's museum. Mr. Destructo enjoyed the motorcycle they had. He liked it so much that he tried to prevent any other children from trying it out. That led to our graceful exit. And by graceful, I really mean full of crying and flailing.
We also went to a fish hatchery. In addition to feeding the fish, the kids wanted to try out fishing. You'd think that at a fish hatchery there would be so many fish that you'd be able to reel them in one right after. You'd be wrong. It was a hot day and after a couple of hours, we had one fish to show for all the effort. But the kids still had fun.
